Weekend Round Up #1

This weekend has been jam packed!

I desperately needed my hair done, so I went to my usual hairdresser and got blonde ends, I also wanted a trim but Kerry hates cutting my hair haha! I chop and change all the time, and some can be quite drastic. So she convinced me to let it grow a bit more, so booked my next trip to the hairdresser for that long overdue trim at the end of August.

Calum came to mines after, and we decided to go on a little road trip, and take my fluffy baby with us. As you can see he was so excited about it!

We ended up going to Longniddry Bents Two, it's very secluded so was almost the perfect place to go! Gizmo enjoyed wondering in the rock pools and climbing the rocks with Calum. We started to notice he was grabbing shells, he was being so gentle with them, like he was collecting them it was so cute! Gizmo also met a new friend, a French bulldog called Winston and he was quite vocal about it. His owner accidentally dropped his lead, so Winston came running over to us which gave Gizmo a fright. After a couple hours exploring we decided to head home because of the big dark clouds looming in.

On Sunday, which was Calum's mums birthday, we all decided to go along to the Kelpies. It took us ages to get a parking space and we only seen them for 15 minutes because the coffee shop wasn't even built! I suggest if you want to go there, wait a few more months. We ended up in a garden centre not so far from it to have a break.

At dinner time, Calum, his parents, his brother and myself all went out for a meal to The Papermill in Lasswade. I've always wanted to go here as it looks so cute and right next to the river. It's quite deceiving as it looks tiny on the outside but it's massive inside! We had a three course meal, which was absolutely delicious and they catered for my gluten free diet too which is always a big plus! I highly recommend this place, I can just imagine it being so cosy in the winter!
